Les mouvements des pédagogies actives se fondent sur une vision pacifiste du monde et des échanges entre les êtres humains. La FICEMEA s’inscrit dans cette histoire. D’ailleurs, nous rappelons avec force cette filiation dans le travail de constitution des « Convergence(s)de l’Education Nouvelle ».

Nous connaissons aujourd’hui une nouvelle situation de guerre, en Europe.

Dans cette fédération qui nous est si chère, nous avons la chance de compter deux organisations membres, le Palais de Rivne, dans cette ville même, en Ukraine et le Centre d’Assistance à la Diffusion des Méthodes de Pédagogies Actives à Tcheliabinsk en Russie. Nous rappelons à ces associations, comme à tous nos membres, qu’elles sont les bienvenues dans la fédération internationale. Nous avons la chance de partager cet espace fédérateur qu’est la FICEMEA, volontaire dans la compréhension et le respect entre les peuples, volontaire pour mener une œuvre pédagogique d’éducation de citoyens critiques, résolus au progrès par la paix.

C’est un pari que, collectivement, nous portons aussi dans une situation hautement conflictuelle. Nous comptons sur nos engagements mutuels pour continuer à pratiquer l’analyse raisonnée et développer toute forme de dialogue constructif. Nous nous engageons à le mettre en place nous aussi et à le favoriser.

Comme en 1921, au Congrès de Calais, notre souhait est : « plus jamais la guerre ! ».
Mais chaque fois que l’histoire nous y contraint, il faut que nous nous opposions à la guerre lorsqu’elle surgit.
C’est ce que nous voulons faire aujourd’hui, là où nous agissons.

Today we are experiencing a new war situation in Europe.

In this federation, which is so dear to us, we are fortunate to have two member organisations, the Palace of Rivne, in this city, in Ukraine, and the Centre of Assistance for the Dissemination of Active Pedagogical Methods in Chelyabinsk, Russia. We remind these associations, as well as all our members, that they are welcome in the international federation. We have the chance to share this federating space that is the FICEMEA, voluntary in the understanding and the respect between the peoples, voluntary to carry out a pedagogical work of education of critical citizens, resolved to the progress by peace.

It is a challenge that we collectively take on in a highly conflictive situation. We count on our mutual commitments to continue to practice reasoned analysis and to develop all forms of constructive dialogue. We commit ourselves to establish and foster it.

As in 1921, at the Calais Congress, our wish is : "Never again war".
But whenever history forces us to do so, we must oppose war when it arises.
That is what we want to do today, where we are acting.
